Here at Popets et Compagnie we introduce English language but also the autonomy and the child wellbeing.
Our educational plan at the micro-crèche Popets et Compagnieis to welcome the children in a warm environment, also to encourage psychomotor, intellectual, and social development. We are looking for the best at Popets et Compagnie and we will take care of your children like they were ours.
We are looking to develop the autonomy, the socialisation and the respect of each individual child.
A collaborative work
We wish to create a mutual trust and confidence environment with the parents and working in collaboration with them to follow up on their child’s development.
The power of sharing and the communication with all the families is a key factor for everyday life so that the parents can follow up on the child’s day at the creche. It’s for this reason we have chosen to use the application MEEKO FAMILY (ask a team member for more information)
A bilingual environment
We introduce English via songs, stories and images.
We are lucky to be in partnership with “ Les Petits Bilingues “ based in Annecy. Every single week, Tamsyn who is an English teacher will be spending 30 min with the children and will only speak English. This collaboration will reinforce our educational plan.
Learning another language can be done from the early age when the mind is still in development. Bilingualism gives the chance to be open minded which allow you to shape your own identity.
Bilingualism has a positive impact on the intellectual development of the brain. Research have highlighted more complex connexions in the brain with Bilingualism.
Bilingualism project
We ask all the parents to speak to their children in the mother tongue language. The children can speak to the growing ups with the language of their choice. The team will answer ack in English and French if the children don’t understand everything.
Even if the professionals speak in English and the children reply to in French, it doesn’t matter. The main goal is that the children can listen and comprehend. The purpose is to offer another sound to discover another language.
All the year round, we will be using English and French. Some of activities will be only done in one of the languages.
The principal is to be able to recognize and differentiate two languages. French will be the main language spoken.
